Camp timetable breakdown
The camp timetable is designed to provide a structured and engaging experience for all participants. Each segment has been thoughtfully planned to create a balanced mix of learning, fun, friendship, and meaningful reflection.
Below is a detailed breakdown of the daily activities so parents and campers can get a clearer idea of what to expect during the week.
This is the welcome session where campers are introduced to camp, given an overview of camp rules and WHS expectations, and taken on a tour of the site so they can get familiar with the surroundings and facilities.
Scheduled meal breaks run throughout the day, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner, and supper. These moments help campers refuel, slow down, and spend relaxed time with friends.
Electives are skill-based workshops led by volunteer leaders. They are designed to teach campers something new and might include coding, Minecraft data packs, sound and lighting, model train building, knitting, or other hands-on interests depending on the leaders available that year.
Download is a Bible talk session delivered in an engaging, nerdy way. It may explore a book of the Bible or a relevant topic, with the goal of clearly presenting the gospel and giving campers a chance to respond. After each talk, campers break into discussion groups, and later in the week there is a Q&A panel for deeper questions.
This segment focuses on games that are fun while also teaching strategy, teamwork, and critical thinking. Campers might play Starcraft, Minecraft mini-games, team survival challenges, XP races, or strategy board games such as Codenames. See all the Game Strat games →
Every camp has a theme, such as Star Wars, and the activities, decorations, trivia, and games are all shaped around it. Theme Night might include escape rooms, creative challenges, or immersive group games that bring the whole camp together.
One Shot is a one-night workshop focused on practical skills or unusual, hands-on sessions. Past examples have included changing a tire, taking apart a computer, or getting started with networking. There is also an Advanced Bible Study option for campers who want to go deeper into scripture.
This is a chance for campers to test their skills against leaders in a range of games, often drawn from the Game Strat sessions. Campers can sign up for their favourite games and enjoy a fun, competitive highlight of the week. See how it works →
Each evening, campers gather for supper while a leader shares their personal testimony about following Christ and how God has been at work in their life. It is a warm, reflective time that helps campers connect, process the day, and ask questions in a safe environment.
A balanced week
Each segment is crafted to help campers enjoy themselves, build useful skills, form lasting friendships, and grow in their faith through the week.
