Camp runs from Monday 6 July 2026 to Saturday 11 July 2026 at KCC Clairvaux, 119 Cliff Drive, Katoomba NSW 2780.

Drop-off: 10:00 am on Monday 6 July 2026
Pick-up: by 2:00 pm on Saturday 11 July 2026

Theme night and camp vibe

The 2026 theme was WhoDunnit? Campers dressed in a detective-themed costume that was warm, practical, and included enclosed shoes. The 2027 theme will be announced closer to camp.

Personal electronics policy

Camp technology is provided. Personal devices are limited so campers can focus on friendship, community, and the program.

Phones, smart watches, tablets, laptops, and handheld consoles go into a device bank
Supervised device access happens at designated times
Directors can help facilitate communication needs outside those times

Sleeping bag or doona
Fitted sheet and pillow
Warm clothes for the week
More than one pair of shoes
Bath towel
Toiletries and deodorant
Raincoat or spray jacket
Hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent
Torch and batteries
Bible, notebook, pens, and pencils

Please clearly label everything with your child’s name.

Food from home
Cigarettes, vapes, alcohol, or drugs
Aerosol cans or spray bottles
Weapons, pocket knives, toy guns, or archery gear

Food is restricted to help protect campers with allergies and anaphylaxis.

Health and care

Important support information for families

Medication

Bring enough medication for the full week, clearly marked with name, dosage, and timing instructions. Hand it in at sign-in in a zip lock bag.

Anaphylaxis

Families should provide two auto-injectors, the child’s action plan, and an identifying wearable band or tag. Parents are also asked to show the first aider or directors how the injector works.

Illness and infection control

If your child has significant symptoms of COVID, influenza, gastro, or another infectious illness before camp, please keep them home until recovered and contact CRU Camps to discuss next steps.

Communication

Families receive updates during camp. For urgent matters, contact the camp directors. Campers can also request to call home, and parents can arrange a suitable time through the directors if needed.
